Building momentum for AI in national defense

Overview

Virtualitics, the Mission AI Company, is a leader in AI decision intelligence focused on transforming government defense department decision-making. In the fall of 2025, they launched the Frontiers of AI for Readiness (FAR) Summit, a marquee event designed to convene top decision-makers from government, industry, and academia. The goal was to accelerate AI innovation and integration at the frontlines of defense, ensuring the operational readiness of U.S. military forces. As the first event of its kind, the FAR Summit represented a new opportunity to bring together leaders across sectors and emphasize the urgency of deploying AI to strengthen national defense. 

Challenge

Because the FAR Summit was a brand-new event, Virtualitics needed to establish awareness and credibility with a highly selective audience. They faced the challenge of creating a compelling brand identity and promotional campaign that would inspire confidence while also conveying the serious risks of inadequate readiness. Registration numbers were critical, and messaging needed to resonate not only with senior leaders across government, industry, and academia but also with military service members who were uniquely positioned to apply AI solutions in the field. The brand and supporting assets had to reflect the urgency of the moment, highlight the importance of collaboration, and set the FAR Summit apart from traditional defense-related gatherings. 

Solution 

Catalysis partnered with Virtualitics to design and deliver a comprehensive branding and promotional program that brought the FAR Summit to life. The solution began with a complete event brand package, including a logo, color palette, typography, email and website templates, organic social creative, and a speaker presentation template. To extend the brand into the event experience itself, Catalysis produced collateral ranging from backlit towers, wall backdrops, table drapes, and die-cut luminaries to smaller branded items like journals, pillows, and pens. A dynamic one-minute opening sizzle reel was created to set the tone for the summit and energize the audience. On the promotional side, Catalysis developed and executed digital campaigns to drive registration. Geo-targeted  LinkedIn ads reached senior decision-makers, while print ads were placed in Air & Space Forces Magazine. This end-to-end solution was developed through close consultation with the client, careful planning around ideal attendees, and targeted activation to maximize impact. 

Outcome

The FAR Summit launched with a distinctive and cohesive identity that signaled its importance as a premier gathering for AI and defense readiness. The combination of strong creative, targeted promotion, and an immersive event experience built awareness and energized participants. Virtualitics successfully positioned the FAR Summit as a vital platform for uniting government, academia, and industry around the mission of accelerating AI innovation for defense.
