Rick's job as creative director is to listen, understand, and solve complex business challenges with strategic visuals. As a true partner with clients, Rick enjoys the hunt for solutions as much as the actual success; it's all about the learning. Rick started his career as a graphic designer working with his design heroes at Sterling Brands. Upon moving to Seattle, he spent time as an art director, both client-side and agency-side mixing advertising, interactive, and design into a hybrid of unstoppable awesome. Along the way he has picked up a shelf-full of awards from Seattle Show, Communication Arts, and GDUSA, and his work has appeared in several design books. When not engaged with clients, Rick can usually be found practicing kendo and cavorting with his two kids - often at the same time.
