As a software test engineer, Tyler’s goal is to help make Catalysis’ products better by designing test cases and test plans, conducting specification reviews, helping develop new automated tools in Selenium, and contemplating new ways to break developers’ code. Before joining Catalysis, Tyler graduated from Northwest Nazarene University with a B.A. in Political Science and parlayed his lifelong love of video games into becoming a software tester for Microsoft Game Studios. From there, he continued testing software at various Seattle-based companies like Smilebox and Precor. He likes watching reality TV with his wife, dancing with his hilarious daughters, playing saxophone, getting loud watching football, eating ramen noodles, and learning iOS development.
